Thomas has 26 years of banking experience having worked in all areas of banking. He has held positions in operations as a branch manager, a national account representative, and is currently Vice President at Regions Bank. Thomas is the Regions at Work Coordinator and Regions at School Coordinator, providing advice, guidance, and education in Southeast Louisiana.

Dr. Janet Daniels

Janet is a native of Baton Rouge and has a PH.D in Economics from Louisiana State University. Currently, she is a Professor of Economics at Baton Rouge Community College and the Director of its Center for Economic Education. She has over 20 years of teaching experience and has won teaching awards at both L.S.U. and B.R.C.C. Dr. Daniel has done presentations on Economics as "The Fun Science" at numerous conferences. Her presentations are designed to help teachers enable students to make sound financial decisions and to show students that Economics is interesting, understandable, and relevant to their daily lives.

Ann Marie Erie

Ann Marie Erie is an award-winning program developer and trainer, with experience delivering a wide range of topics ranging from financial literacy to workforce development. Through her extensive background in non-profit community organizations, she has consistently worked to meet the needs of the community through education, outreach and resource development. She has developed and taught financial education workshops for people of all ages from preschoolers to senior citizens. She has also facilitated instructor-training workshops as well as partnered with financial education coalitions to bring education and resources to the community. She is the Secretary of the Board of the Louisiana Jump$tart Coalition.

Claire Loup

Claire is an Economic and Financial Education Specialist at the New Orleans Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. Since 2002, she has worked to further the Bank’s district-wide strategies in promoting economic and financial education. She joined the Branch in 1999 as a HR Training Specialist. A New Orleans native, Claire attended the University of New Orleans where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Education and a Master of Business Administration.

Phyllis Phillips

Phyllis has been the Executive Director of the Louisiana Association for Personal Financial Achievement (ACHIEVE) since 2011. ACHIEVE is a non-profit organization whose goal is to improve the lives of individuals in Louisiana by providing the training, skills, and tools needed to help its citizens manage their personal finances. In a relaxed classroom environment she teaches the concepts that will enable participants, regardless of age, to achieve the level of understanding necessary to make progress toward their financial goals. Phyllis’ knowledge of financial management systems, basic savings and investing, budgeting, and credit are delivered with ease and with the goal of meeting the objectives of her clients.

Rob Roberts

Rob is a native Floridian who attended the University of Florida. He received a master’s degree from Teachers College at Columbia University. Rob has been a middle school reading teacher in South Texas and Harlem. He served as the National Program Director for Health Corps in New York, as well as, an Obesity Task Force Manager with the New York City Department of Education. Presently Rob is the schools manager for EverFi in southern Mississippi. He is motivated to inspire other teachers to provide critical life skills education to their students, such as financial literacy.

Laura Smith

Laura serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer for the Louisiana Council for Economic Education, a statewide non-profit organization that provides Professional Development workshops and classroom resources to K-12 educators and pre-service teachers. Laura’s own background as an educator informs her drive to bring innovative and experiential teaching tools, with a focus on kinesthetic activities, to Louisiana teachers. Mrs. Smith is an author and a recipient of the Teachers for Tomorrow Award for Curriculum Development and the Brunswick Yarns Award for Excellence in Education. She has served as a nationally touring motivational speaker for middle and high school students, and as adjunct instructor at Louisiana State University
